Silence Please!

They make noise

And I silently remain poised

They scream, they yell, they argue a lot

I keep mum and resiliently keep up to my point

They don't budge and just bandy words

I keep calm as I have no interest to taste the applesauce

They think they are always right

I believe my silence is my might

They call me weak, they label me timid

To prove who I am, I see no need

With this magical silence, resilience immense

Tables are turned

Loud mouths are shunned

Meaningful conversations begun

Relationships blossomed

Harmony is seen
